But this year IBPS has made several Changes in the Exam pattern and eligibility criteria, because of which several questions have arisen in the minds of aspirants. Q. I cannot see the link to apply for the Exam. Can you provide the link ?
A. the link to apply for IBPS PO CWE 3 will become available from 22 July 2013 on the official website of IBPS.
Q. What is the application Fee ?
A. The application fee is Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PWD Candidates and Rs. 600 for all others.
Q. In which banks I will be selected if I clear the IBPS PO Exam ?
A. There are total 21 organizations in which you can be selected if you clear the exam. 2 of them (ECGC, IDBI Bank) have been added this year itself. Also any other bank or financial Institute can select you on the basis of IBPS score card.
Q. I was born on 1 July 1985. Am I eligible for the exam ?
A. No, Candidates born before 2 July 1985 are not eligible to give the Exam.
Q. My percentage in Graduation is 59.99%. Am I eligible ?
A. No, 59.99% is considered below 60%. and minimum 60% is required to be eligible for the Exam.
Q. Is there any Descriptive Exam this year like previous IBPS PO Exam ?
A. No, this year there is no descriptive Exam in IBPS PO CWE-III.
Q. Is there any negative marking ?
A. Yes, there is negative marking. 1/4th of the marks are deducted for any wrong answer.
Q. Is there any sectional cutoff ?
A. Yes, there is sectional cut off. and candidate need to clear both sectional and overall cutoffs to pass the exam.
Q. when I will be required to Register my preferences of Participating Organizations ?
A. Starting IBPS PO 3 you will be required to register your preference at the time of filling application form only. i.e when you apply for the exam.
Q. Can I select any other bank if I do not join the allotted bank ?
A. No, If you are allotted a bank and you do not wish to join it, then you won’t be allowed to join any other bank. also you won’t be considered for second or third allotment list.
